Thoughts: HMP Liverpool


Since the age of around 14, I’ve been interested in crime & criminals. I used to watch a lot of horror movies & documentaries about serial killers with my friend – we were fascinated! I remember watching the film ‘Ted Bundy’ (about the American serial killer), & thinking “when I’m older I want to talk to people like him, & try to understand what’s going on in their heads”.

When I went to college at the age of 16, I picked law, psychology, & English language as my A Levels. I loved law & psychology &, after a lot of research, I decided that I’d eventually like to become a forensic psychologist. Continue reading

Recipe: Butternut Squash Soup


I find lunch the trickiest meal to choose what to eat – especially being on Slimming World – so a couple of weeks ago I decided to try out making my own soup. For me, soup is really filling, so I thought it would be a good lunchtime option to keep me going until tea. Since I first tried this butternut squash soup recipe, I have made it again several times because it’s so nice! & Really easy to make as well!

Wishlist: Hope’s


Today I have a wishlist of clothes from an American shop called Hope’s. I randomly found their Instagram page a year or so ago, & I always seem to love the clothes that they post pictures of. Unfortunately, I doubt that I will ever order anything from Hope’s because, although they offer international postage, it’ll set me back $39.50 (£25.17)! For now, I’ll just have to settle with looking at this wishlist!

Tips for Selling on eBay


Today I have some tips for you for selling on eBay. I’ve been listing my old clothes on eBay for a long time, & I’ve even bought wholesale products before to sell on there for profit. So far, I’ve racked up nearly 200 pieces of positive feedback from people that have bought my items, & I’m currently selling clothes, books & games on my account right now!

Recipe: Peanut Butter Curry


Today I’m sharing a yummy curry recipe that I originally found on Emma’s blog (which you can see here). I first had the idea to make a peanut butter curry after going to a restaurant named Yee Rah in Liverpool & ordering the Massaman Curry. It was delicious &, for me, the peanuts really made the dish! Anyone that knows me will know that I love peanut butter. Whether it’s Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, peanut butter on toast, or a warm mug of Peanut Hottie in the evening – I am in love! 😍 So, I hunted for a Slimming World friendly peanut butter curry, & stumbled upon Emma’s. What I Ate Today #1


This is both my first ever blog post, & my first ever What I Ate Today post! I plan on doing these posts frequently, because 1) I enjoy seeing what others eat on a daily basis so thought it would be fun to share what I eat, & 2) I think the posts will be interesting to look back on if I ever need some food inspiration!

I follow Slimming World, so all of the food I show on my What I Ate Today posts will be Slimming World friendly! However, because Slimming World focuses on a balanced diet & lifestyle, the food I eat is kind of what everyone should eat. Although that doesn’t mean that I’m perfect! I’m just trying to say that what I eat on a daily basis definitely isn’t boring diet food 😉
